   His full name is Russell Ira Crowewhoborned on 7 April 1964, an Australian actor and musician. His acting career began in the early 1990s with roles in Australian TV series such as Police Rescue and films such as Romper Stomper. He has been nominated for three Oscars, and in 2001, he won the Academy Award for Best Actor for his starring role in the film Gladiator.      Russell Crowe wants his son to be a sports star. The 'Gladiator' actor has started playing soccer with his eldest son Charlie, three, and has been tackling him to prepare him for rougher sports when he gets older. Russell, 43, said: "I don't want to really make him focus on contact sports just yet. He's too little for that. But I do chase him around the room and tackle him every now and then, which he enjoys as a game. "We take a soccer ball to the park and kick it around every now and then." The New Zealand-born actor and his wife Danielle Spencer also have a one-year-old son, Tennyson Spencer. Russell recently expressed his desire to be a perfect father in an emotional note that he plans to bury in a time capsule for 25 years. In the note, he writes: "Our lives have been blessed by you.
