几只怪物战胜了呆呆的外星人，他们也像英雄一样受到了人们的欢迎，只是他们新的生活才刚刚开始，梦工厂或许有意将这个系列持续下去，就像皮克斯的《超人总动员》一样，只要这个世界有威胁，就有这群英雄的用武之地，他们乐观搞笑的天性也将继续下去。
影片结束打出第一段字幕之后，还有一段关于总统和将军的隐藏剧情，一直我行我素的总统最终还是按下了启动核弹的红色按钮......紧接着就是配有些许007风格的音乐前奏和画面的第二段字幕。
