说实话，夏季档看美剧是要勇气的。有几部夏季美剧不是重口味、话题度吸引一心奔向3d影院的人们的眼球？《单身毒妈》种大麻、黑社会；《火线警告》大场面无间道；《护士当家》偷情嗑药；看上去很美好的《欲海医心》投奔富二代怀抱.....至于HBO就不说了，啃来啃去的吸血鬼；熟年先生的特殊服务?怪不得都喜欢带自己小孩去看些没头没脑的电影也不愿呆在家里。
差不多夏季档完结，秋季新季要到了，lifetime出现了这么一部3D喜剧——Drop Dead Diva：一个美女模特被车撞了上了天，结果鬼使神差转世到了一个长得很抱歉的大支律师身上。大块头不只有大智慧，还有好运气。痴情前男友、时髦闺蜜、死忠助理和守护天使一应俱全。虽然身体是别人的，但却结合了主角Jane的智商和Deb的情商。每集两个case，期间穿插主角身体改变元神保留带来的戏剧冲突，每每要滑入chick flick窠臼时峰回路转温馨收尾。没看过福特嫂的甜心俏佳人所以无法比较，但基本可以总结为《波士顿法律》的框架+《丑女贝蒂》的风格+McDreamy&Susan的穿越。
是一部彻头彻尾的女性向剧集。本来，Lifetime就有点Abc有线台的感觉。过去购买GA播放权，今年拿下Project Runway，明显收视主力就是女性（或者说是中年主妇更准确）。同样也看得出Lifetime的宣传力度。隔三差五在剧中提到ProjectRunway，还把Tim Gunn请进剧组，神兵天将的Jorjia Fox，以及即将出场的Paula Abdul。最后能够拿下300以上的收视对小台lifetime来说一意味着又一部台柱诞生。
虽然是女性向剧集，但这部剧却很明智选择了律政题材。其中的case既非Boston Legal的荒诞不羁、也不如Law&Order有现实意义。主要目的还是一心一意用于构建主角Jane的独立自信、善解人意、乐观聪慧的形象。
很标准的都市喜剧，但高可励志，低可消遣，无论如何都不容忽视。
