In 1973，Bruce Lee passed away in Hong Kong like a falling star. But in another Chinese world, Taiwan, a new star was rising fast. Her name is Brigitte Lin.
At the age of 18 years old, she was found by star detective when she was walking on the street, and then she acted the leading role in this film named <Outside the window>.
It said a love story between a teacher and a girl student. Maybe it is nothing important in overseas and I know that a lot of alien professors married with their students. Nevertheless, in China of 1970’s it was forbidden by convention. So we can image the ending of this love. They must be separated. The man left Taipei and became a drunkard. The girl married with a young man who she did not love at all and divorced finally. They were both unhappiness.
In this film, Brigitte Lin was not only beautiful but also young and shy. She act a series of love movies which written by Qiong Yao then. In the later period of her acting life, she went to Hong Kong and act several masters in Kung Fu movie such as Bubai Dongfang, Siren with white hair and Yan Murong, etc. Sometimes she acted a man in these films and seemed handsome, classical and there were a sort of temperament which other actor had not.
Although she have been retired from the world of entertainment for many years, her figures are borne in her fans’ minds.
