没名字的河流 nameless river
我出生时，暗自呜咽 I was born sobbing
蓝天大地 blue sky ,vast earth.
溪水黝黑 black stream water
长年累月下，我逐渐成长 I grow with the months,the years
没人对我细加垂顾 with no one to watch over me
没名字的人 nameless man
没名字的是河流 nameless is theriver
没颜色的是鲜花 colorless the flower
芳香扑鼻 perfume
万籁无声 without a voice
噢！河流！噢！过客！O river!O passby!
在那三轮车的生涯里In the closed cycle
度过年年月月 of the months,the years.
这是越南导演陈英雄(tran anh hung)的电影《三轮车夫(cyclo)》中经由旁白读出的一首诗，由梁朝伟(Tony Leung Chiu Wai)扮演的那位黑帮诗人所创作。这并不是一部关于诗歌的电影，片中的诗人就像《青木瓜之味（The scent green papaya）》里的钢琴家、《夏天的滋味(the vertical ray of the sun)》里的作家一样，或许只是导演艺术家身份的自我影射。
