英国《EMPIRE》杂志评选：The 500 Greatest Movies of All Time

今天逛书店，看到了《EMPIRE》杂志上这个很吸引人的标题，而且这期做的挺有特色的，一样的内容有一百种封面，也就是一百部不同的电影。当然可供我选择的封面没那么多。在书架上摆放的所有《EMPIRE》中，还是挑了Titanic的封面。

与其说是“最伟大”的电影，倒不如说成是“最受影迷喜欢的”电影，因为《EMPIRE》的这次评选的参与者主要是10000名《EMPIRE》的读者，答案是非常主观的。更有甚者，...

在我刚刚看完Paul Newman出演的Road to Perdition之后，就看到了IMDB上令人震惊和心痛的Breaking News:

“Beloved actor and humanitarian Paul Newman has died of cancer in his home in Westport, Connecticut. He was 83.”

仅此深切哀悼。愿他在天堂里能够继续享受自己不朽的电影人生，而他在荧幕上留下的那些经典的形象，将永远活跃在我们心里。

MOGAMBO（《红尘》） - Ava Gardner's Attraction

Mogambo超出了此前我对它的期待。

很喜欢片子里的野外风情和那些非洲人唱的歌谣，当然还有各种各样的野生动物，特别是拍摄猩猩的那一段，都让我想到Animal Planet了。另外，Clark Gable的桃花运真是不浅，两大极品美女Ava Gardner和Grace Kelly连续投怀送抱。不过这部电影里显然Ava的角色更加讨喜，她的表演也更出色，美丽、性感和有些野性的气质一览无余，与自由不羁的野外生活相...

I'M FINISHED...
有时候，真希望生活就是一部电影。
可是，电影永远只是电影。
或许对生活产生消极态度甚至绝望的时候，可以重新看一遍《肖申克的救赎》，再听一遍那句“Hope is a good thing, maybe the best thing, and no good things ever die”，就可以重新振作起来吧。

I watched this film because of Winona Ryder and Adam Sandler. Anyway a film with any of the two names should always be worth watching. It's a heart-warming comedy and Mr. Deeds is adorable.
