年仅4岁就在阿波罗剧院登台的节奏蓝调女歌手Patti Austin(佩蒂.奥斯汀)于1948年出生在纽约，60年代末期成为录音室歌手并替广告歌曲配唱。81年名制作人昆西琼斯发表流行专辑《The Dude》，这张畅销专辑不仅捧红担任男声主唱的James Ingram，更成为Patti Austin音乐事业的转折点。82年James Ingram与Patti Austin合唱一曲“Baby, Come To Me”一举拿下流行与抒情单曲榜的双料冠军，此时Patti真正成为横跨节奏蓝调与流行两个音乐领域的女歌手。　

90年代开始，Patti Austin加盟流行爵士名厂牌GRP。此张《Love is gonna getcha》就是佩蒂在GRP的首张唱片，著名音乐制作人及键盘大师Dave Grusin 亲自为之操刀,GRP当红吉他手Lee Ritenour、鼓手Harvey Mason 及贝斯手Nathan East 等为之录音。

　　Patti Austin在其曲风上添加上了爵士的色彩，但歌声依旧慵懒而闲适。Patti Austin(佩蒂.奥斯汀)在其醇厚和有穿透力的嗓音上添加上了爵士的色彩，但歌声依旧慵懒而闲适，千回百转的歌声里，身心释放，感觉非常的惬意自在。

这首say you love me 灵动而清新，曾经作为香港电影《侠骨仁心》的插曲。
